Another Busy Day at the Office

I have been very busy in all my classes lately with ladies making lots of different quilts at different stages with me running back and forth between offering advice and helping with cutting, pinning etc.

Today was another one of those days!

Tracey brought in her "Elizabeth" quilt, all quilted now and very beautiful.  This was a project I made for Homespun magazine using the John Hewson reproduction fabrics.

Two ladies were working on "Blue Lotus": one in brown and one on a red background!!

Here is Jan's version in browns and creams:

Here is Lynne's version using the original "Paris Flea Market" range of fabric on the red background:  wow, looks fabulous!

Some ladies were working on their "Hunsford" centres with lots more progress happening:

This is Kerry's gorgeous centre.  Great 'fussy cutting' here...

Here is Kylie's centre with the floral borders added.  So different and stunning!

This is Robin's centre with the star blocks sewn on:

Linda is working on an old design of mine called "Trailing Roses".  It is a strippy quilt with an appliqué panel in the centre and pieced borders.  Here is the start of her rose appliqué and the "beads on a string" border.  Yum!

Tracey was working very hard on her hand stitching on "Ode to the Rose":

She has also made the pieced rose blocks:

That is enough for one day!

  1. I am searching for a John Hewson vase panel. Do you have any idea where I can still buy it?
