Whitecroft Jane Austen Tour: Expressions of Interest for 2018

It is almost exactly one year since I participated in the most wonderful Whitecroft Tour on the Life and Times of Jane Austen.  I think of those ten happy days often and have enjoyed sharing those experiences with my students since that trip.

I will be heading back to the UK in May next year for another tour, now completely booked out!

Helen Bertram is now taking expressions of interest in the planned 2018 tour to take place 8 to 18 July, 2018 (these dates replace the earlier suggested April dates).

I cannot recommend this tour more highly to those interested in quilts, history, literature, textiles, architecture, embroidery, fine art, furniture, gardens and all things English.  The tour is not only for the ladies and gentlemen are also welcome.

You do not need to know lots about Jane Austen, just be happy to absorb yourself in beautiful surroundings in the company of like minded people and be looked after impeccably.  Too easy!

The tour is based for 10 nights in the beautiful Georgian city of Bath.

We travel from this base to visit lots of locations associated with Jane Austen, her novels and her era.

You will see her beautiful quilt at Chawton.

We will visit the residences of some of the Austen relatives.

We will have private tours and information sessions in many wonderful locations.  Here is just a taste of what we will see.  I hope you enjoy the photos.

Here is the group from our 2015 tour, a year ago now.

If you are interested to join me in 2018, you can send Helen Bertram an email on enquiries@whitecrofttours.co.uk for further details and to express your interest in the tour.
You will not be disappointed.
