The Malvern Quilt Show

We were very fortunate that our tour coincided with the weekend of the Malvern Quilt Show!  Well, actually brilliant Helen organised it that way.

It was held in the Showground surrounded by the beautiful Malvern Hills.

Not too many photos today, too much shopping happening, but here are a few pics of some of my favourite quilts on show.

Bali Botanical Sampler by Alison Stothard.

Encompassed Star by Rebecca Collins.

Pippen's Flight by Janice Jenkins-Bulgin

Wonderful detail.

Nearly Insane made and longarm quilted by Frances Meredith.

Wallflower by Claudia Scheja

Peony Ring by Sally Bramald.  Absolutely gorgeous appliqué.

Beautiful hexagon quilt detail by Abigail Rose by Sue Watters, longarm quilted by Sandy Chandler.

We then had a lovely dinner in a private room of a beautiful restaurant, called the Crown and Crucis Country Inn, just outside Cirencester.

This was the scene from across the road.

  1. Bottom close up detail is if my quilt. The beautiful Peony Basket quilt is Sally Bramald. The red and white belongs to Frances Meredith. As for knowing where you are your in the Cotwolds somewhere but can't recall the restaurant.

  3. Just read your blog again, thank you for crediting the makers. Now you say the Crown at Ampney Crucis I know where you've been. My friend worked on the front desk of the hotel for many years.
