The Fashion Museum in Bath
This is a most amazing Museum. The displays of antique costumes are just breath taking.
The historic garments are displayed on life sized manekins, giving them such a realistic impression.
These first gowns are from the Georgian period.
Look at the beautiful gloves.
Love the apricot and green dress.
Crinolines from the 1860s.
White wedding dresses became the Fashion after Queen Victoria wore won at her wedding to Prince Albert.
This printed crinoline from the 1860s was beautiful.
The shoes were amazing.
There was also a wonderful exhibition of lace garments.
Gorgeous wedding veils.
Katie had the chance to dress up, just gorgeous!
What an amazing collection of textiles. A big today tomorrow. I need to get some sleep.
