My Day at The Sydney Quilt Show

Here are some photos taken during a very busy visit to the Sydney Quilt Show 2014 today.

The new venue at Glebe Island is really great: very spacious with lots of light and air and easy to get to.  We drove there this morning and had no trouble parking just after 9am.  Otherwise, ladies reported the free ferries and buses were great and took you very close to the front doors.

We had a quick visit to see Veronica's stall at Number C43.  Here she is with Debbie.  Looking gorgeous girls, and the stall looks great too!

Then on to see our quilts hanging. Here I am with Henrietta.

Here is Julie with her "Pemberley".  She later won third prize in the Commercially Quilted Quilt Category (Large).  Congrats, Julie on a beautiful quilt, quilted by Veronica.

Here is Cheryl with her stunning sunflower quilt, also quilted by Veronica.

This is Tracey with her gorgeous compass quilt.  Quilted by Veronica.  Do you see a theme here?

At the prize giving ceremony, I received a Judges' Commendation for "Henrietta".

Here is my ribbon going on...

Yay!
