I have been invited to teach there by Helen Campbell of "The Quilting Room" who is a very enthusiastic quilter and host of special retreat events.
I will be teaching "Rosings" during the weekend. This is the fourth in my Jane Austen Quilt Collection. The centre involves making a gorgeous Georgetown Circle block using machine paper foundation piecing techniques. We will then concentrate on hand applique as we prepare the pieces to be appliqued around the centre block in a profusion of vines and flowers.
Here is a photo of the landscape around Victor Harbour. What a location for a magnificent weekend of fun, sewing and food. I believe Helen is a fabulous cook and she will be catering for the weekend. She is busy devising menus and taste testing already. Yum!
