Class with the Silver City Quilters

Today was day 2 of my three day workshop with the Silver City Quilters in Broken Hill.

The ladies were all working on paper foundation piecing techniques on either Rosings or Spikes and Specks.

Here are some photos of the progress made.  The first one belongs to Jo in some bright colours and great fussy cutting of the large flower.

This is by Lyndall in soft colours of purple, green and brown.

This belongs to Lyn in gorgeous autumn tones.

This one is by Karen in rich red, brown and gold.

This is by Kaye in lovely reds, greens and a paisley print.

These are the Spikes and Specks blocks by Siobahn, Sharon, Jan and Narelle.

I saw a stunning sunset at The Living Desert where they have some amazing sculptures.

I also enjoyed feeding my little kangaroo friend again today. So precious.
