Whack and Stack Fun at Lyn's Fine Needlework

Some of the girls had fun making dresden fan blocks for their "Marrakesh" quilts yesterday.

It is very exciting to see all the different fabrics and the patterns they create.

These are Jeanette's fans made from a scrupmtious Japanese floral:

Lorraine and Meredith used the same huge dahlia fabric but in different colour ways.  First are Lorraine's fans in soft purples, pinks and greens:

                            

 

Last, but definitely not least, are Meredith's fans in brilliant reds and yellows, blues and purples:  We agonised over the fabric to go behind the fans, but decided on the sunny yellow. Looks great!
