Action at Hobbysew, Kings Park

My lovely ladies in Wednesday afternoon class at Hobbysew, Kings Park, have been very busy completing quilts.

Here is Jill's very beautiful centre for her Spikes and Specks quilt.  She has used a gorgeous combination of colours.  I love the soft peach with the blues and greens. Well done and all the appliqué has been done by hand!

Here is Jill again with her almost completed sensational Japanese version of "Mansfield Park".  Wow, it is stunning in those rich bright colours.  When she went to put on the final border which inspired all the colours in the quilt, she did not like it.  Oh bother, we had to go fabric shopping again!

Here is Bev with a very happy version of "Jelly Mosaic".  Bev used a spot fabric for every piece of the quilt from micro dots to jumbo polka dots.  She certainly found a huge selection of dots in her stash of brights.  I love seeing my patterns made in different fabrics.  This looks so different to mine and I love it as well.

Here is Bev again but this time she is helping to hold up Carolyn's version of "Jelly Friends" in purples and greens.  Looks great.

Here is Carolyn's other finished quilt, "Jelly Mosaic" in Moda's Vin de Jour range.  Gorgeous. She has made it for her king sized bed.

Wonderful work girls! See you all next month.
