Summer School Project Complete

I have completed a new Block Keeper as a project for January Summer School in 2018.

The front and back covers are made from two blocks in the “Sampler Quilts” booklet I am printing for participants in Summer School at The Stitchers Cupboard in Camden and Hobbysew in Kings Park.

The block on the front cover is called “Summer Winds”.

The block on the back cover is called “Union”.

I have sewn pages of cotton wadding to the inside of the Block Keeper so that works in progress will cling to them and stay neat and flat.

The “Sampler Quilts” booklet contains the complete cutting and piecing instructions with diagrams for 48 twelve inch blocks.  You can make two blocks into the Block Keeper, three blocks into a table runner, nine blocks into a lap quilt or more blocks into a bed sized Sampler quilt.  The choice is yours.

I hope you will join me for Summer School at The Stitchers Cupboard (4655 8348) or Hobbysew Kings Park (9621 4000).

The dates are at Camden: 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22 and 24 January, 2018

And at Hobbysew: 9, 11, 16 and 18 January, 2018.
