Launch of my "Pennsylvania" Quilt Pattern on Craftsy

As requested, I have now released the pattern for my original "Pennsylvania" quilt design available for purchase on Craftsy.

This is one of my most loved machine pieced quilt designs.  I used many reproduction fabrics from my stash and some of my favourite quilt blocks on a small scale to create a quilt with an antique feel.

The comprehensive 25 page pattern contains full written instructions, many colour diagrams and photographs to guide even the beginner quilter through this project.

I think the quilt has a "Dear Jane" look with small blocks (but not all the tiny pieces!)

Here are some close ups of my quilt:

This is one of my student's versions.  A lovely quilt by Chris.

This is another beautiful version by Robin.

I hope you enjoy this new quilt pattern release on Craftsy. The price is US$15.95. Press here to go to the pattern order form.

Judy's Quilts

My dear friend Judy is very prolific with her quilting (on top of working, gardening, cooking, cleaning etc).

Here is her adaptation of my "Pemberlini" quilt pattern.  She has used a printed reproduction panel in the centre.  Judy is hand quilting around the applique.  Looks lovely.

Remember, you can still purchase my original pattern for "Pemberlini" for instant online download on Craftsy.com.

Judy has also been working very hard on a black and white version of "Ashbourne Mill" as a gift for her nephew.  The centres give a touch of red.  Amazing.

Jane Austen Class at Patchwork Plus, Miranda

My lovely class at Miranda have done heaps of work on their "Lambton" quilts.  We started our monthly class making Jane Austen quilts in February this year.

I think Denise is the very first person to have completed her own version of "Lambton".  Denise has used beautiful primary colours and lots of fussy cutting to produce a beautiful quilt with a French provincial feel to it.

Congratulations Denise.  It is stunning.

Here is a collection of gorgeous blocks made by Pauline.  I love her beautiful colours.

Irene has also made great progress on her fabulous "Lambton" blocks in pink, teal and biscuit.

I love your work ladies.  Thanks Lorraine for another great day at your shop.

The Stitchers Cupboard: Recent Class Work

Check out this great fussy cutting by Melanie for her centre Dresdens on "Lambton".  They are all cut from the same piece of fabric.  Cool!

Here they are in a collage photo:

This yummy "Lambton" centre is by Chris.  I always love red and chocolate, but I think you could have guessed that?

These lovely blocks for "Lambton" are by another Chris.

Robyn sewed the outside blocks for her "Pemberley" together, divided by a lovely red sashing fabric.  This will compliment the blue and red final border stripe we chose.  Very close to finishing!  Yay.

Here is Narelle, very happy with her completed purple and black version of "Hunsford".  Just stunning, Narelle (and the quilt looks good too).

I also started teaching my Pickle Dish quilt called "Pickled Paisley" last weekend.

Lots of unique colour plans were drawn up and coloured in during class.  Not too much to show yet, but here is the beginning of Natalie's crisp white and teal with blue version.

There will be lots more to show in the coming months.
