My Week at Hobbysew Kings Park

Lots happening again this week as I taught my three monthly classes at Hobbysew.

This is Wendy's beautiful centre for "Hartfield".  I love the stripe she has used for the zig zag border and great fussy cutting, Wendy!

Anna has completed the centre appliqué for her "Blue Lotus" quilt.  We added the three mitred borders in class.

Lesley was working on the clam shell borders for her "Longbourne" quilt.

Here is a closeup of some of her hexagons and frames borders.

Robyn was working on her lovely "Wentworth" centre.  I love the soft blues she has used with the brown and her fussy cut William Morris fabric hedge border.

This is Kerry's gorgeous "Hartfield" centre.  Lovely use of colour.

She continued to make more elongated hexagons for the next border.

Jennie brought in her completed bright and beautiful version of "Charlotte".  This was my string pieced Summer School project.  Jennie made hers larger as a gift for her grand daughter in the USA whom she is visiting soon.  Love it.

Dru has completed the pretty hexagon flower borders for her "Wentworth".   Very beautiful.

Jennie has finished all the components of her "Pemberlini" appliqué quilt.  We began to stitch all of the pieces together.  It is stunning.

Although Sharon could not get to class, she sent me these pics of her progress on her "Spikes and Specks" blocks.  Nearly there girl!

Great work ladies. See you next month.
