Weekend Retreat at Kurri Kurri

Just back from a great weekend retreat at the Hunter Valley Hotel Academy in Kurri Kurri.  Lots of sewing, eating, chatting, laughing and friendship.

It is a beautiful rural location and great facilities.

Here is my classroom.  But where are all the people?

They must be down the back shopping at our pop up shop by Carol from Cherry Pie Designs.

Some of the ladies worked on my two new projects, while others continued on quilts we have started in earlier classes.

Jan got moving on the appliqué for a "Cordelia" cushion or bag front.

So did Jenny.

Love the bird.

Glenda made a very pretty and sweet version of my folder cover.

Sharon made a super bright version.

Some ladies were working on elongated hexagon borders for "Hartfield".

Natalie.

Julie,

Jan

Karen.

Here is Karen's beautiful centre.

Jan was also working on her lovely "Hartfield".

Narelle also made progress on "Hartfield".  Looking beautiful.

Kerry worked hard on the appliqué of her blocks for "Hartfield".

Meredith added borders to her gorgeous "Wentworth" in autumnal tones.

Jenny brought her completed "Wentworth" for Show and tell.

Three ladies were working on "Pickled Paisley" quilts in very different colour combos.

Kathy.

Natalie.

Colleen in amazing Japanese prints.  Wow!

Thank you everyone for a great weekend.
