Another Busy Day at the QuiltNSW Sydney Show

Here I am at the entrance to the quilt display at the Sydney Quilt Show, showing my hoop design.

Here is the work of some of my very talented tutor friends. We were all asked by the QuiltNSW Committee to contribute a design for the display.  It was fun to pick which one belonged to which quilter.

The first one is a gorgeous felt and embroidered tree by Wendy Williams.

This is a classic Australian gum leaf design by Amanda Daly, President of QuiltNSW.

This one is very much a signature Deborah Louie, quilted in black thread and then coloured with pencils.

This one is by very clever textile artist, Caroline Sharkey. She loves the colours of the desert.

It was great to see some of my students work on display.  Well done ladies.  It is a lot of work to get a quilt ready for the Show.

This is "Blue Lotus" by Robyn Harris, quilted by Jan Foster of Red Shed Quilting.

This is "Longbourne" by Natalie Wall, quilted by Veronica Appleyard of Appleyard Cottage Quilting.

This is "Hunsford" by Dianne Kearns, quilted by Veronica Appleyard of Appleyard Cottage Quilting.

I also had another visit to see my quilt "Wentworth" hanging in the Show.

It was great to see Glynne and her daughter at the Show, amongst many other friends.
