Victor Harbor Retreat is Sadly Over for Another Year!

I have had a wonderful time with Helen Campbell and all the ladies attending The Quilting Room retreat in Victor Harbor.  Sadly it is time to go home now.

The ladies have all done an amazing amount of work in amongst all the gorgeous food, laughing, drinking, sunshine, laughing, talking and too much fun.

Here is a collage of all the work.  Love it all, looking forward to seeing more of these quilts as they progress.

Show and Tell at The Quilting Room Retreat, Victor Harbor

It was fabulous to see all the beautiful work accomplished by my students from previous classes in South Australia.

Here is Helen's wonderful "Pemberley" centre.  I love her use of her amazing fabric stash.

This is Jackie's gorgeous "Longbourne" which she made for her grand daughter.  She also quilted her quilt herself.  Fabulous!

Andrea made two amazing versions of "Longbourne". One with very pretty William Morris fabrics and another one in bright colours including batiks.  A huge amount of work, congratulations.

This is Danielle's gorgeous "Longbourne" in beautiful floral Japanese fabrics.  She has done an amazing job of fussy cutting all the lovely motifs.

I am so proud to see all of these beautiful quilts.

Amazing Selection of Work from The Quilting Room Retreat, Victor Harbor.

I have travelled to Victor Harbor in South Australia to teach for Helen Campbell to The Quilting Room.

The ladies have been very busy making their "Meryton" centres ahead of the retreat.  They are all very different and gorgeous.  Here they are by:

Sandra had a head start with hers, having done a weekend class at Carolyn's Quilting Room last year.  She has completed her centre and is now working on the outside blocks.  Beautiful!

Fabulous work ladies.  Hope you are enjoying class.
