Last Classes for a Month at The Stitchers Cupboard

I have been busy teaching the last couple of weeks and making all the necessary preparations for my trip to the United Kingdom for the first Whitecroft Traditional Tours "The Life and Times of Jane Austen" trip.

Lots of my students have been working on different Jane Austen quilts.

First, this is the progress Mooneen has made on her lovely "Pemberley":

We were able to put the scallops around her centre oval medallion.  We chose to feature a lovely flower.  Beautiful.

Here are lots of photos of Dianne's gorgeous "Hunsford" in red, black and cream.  It is looking amazing.  Some gorgeous fussy cutting.

She has been busy making lots of the outside blocks.  Wow!

This is Kylie's colourful "Netherfield" in lots of fussy cut William Morris fabrics:

This is Theresa's stunning "Hunsford".  We were busy cutting down and sewing on the outside blocks together today.

Here are some sections of Kelly's beautiful "Netherfield" in tones of pink and purple.  It is looking wonderful.

This is Sue's centre for "Meryton" in William Morris fabrics in green, orange, brown and blue.  The brains trust collaborated to choose the next border.

Thank you ladies for sharing your quilts.  What a beautiful collection of work in progress.  I look forward to seeing more on these quilts when I get back!?
