Wonderful Jane Austen Quilts

It is great to see some Jane Austen quilts being finished and others just starting.

I held another class at The Stitchers Cupboard today.  Here are some photos to share with you.

This is Kelly's beautiful "Longbourne".  The clamshell borders were added today.  Just the corner appliqué motifs to do and the final borders.  Wow!

Jennie popped in to show us her "Meryton" which she has just sewn together.  We discussed some options for the final border.  Stunning.

Here is Dianne's centre for her red and black "Hunsford".  Love the fussy cut star in the centre.

This is Colleen's centre for "Hunsford",

and here it is with the dogtooth border added:  So striking.

This is Kylie's centre for her William Morris "birdy" Netherfield.  Lovely.

This is Michelle's fabulous "Netherfield" centre in rich autumn tones.  Looks amazing.

Great work girls.  Looking forward to seeing more progress on these gorgeous quilts.
