Veronica's Win

It was lovely to accompany my dear friend Veronica Appleyard today when she won 2nd prize in the Professional (Predominantly Applique) Category at the NSW Quilters' Guild 2013 Darling Harbour Quilt Show.

Her quilt "Emerald Forest" is just glorious with its stunning applique in beautiful bright coloured fabrics and fabulous free motion machine quilting. Veronica greatly deserves her win as she always puts in her best quilting whether on her own or other people's quilts, luckily including mine!
