Recent Hobbysew Classes

The first week of each month sees me very busy travelling to Hobbysew at Kings Park for my three monthly classes.

In the first Saturday class, Judy has finished her very beautiful version of “Pickled Paisley”.  This is my Pickle Dish block quilt with paper foundation pieced arcs and intricate circular piecing.  Judy has done a fabulous job.  She always rises to the challenge of my most difficult quilt designs.

Wendy has also been working on paper foundation piecing.  She is making some gorgeous blocks for “The Way Ahead” in stunning black, red and gold.

Roh came to Wednesday class and continued working on blocks for her “Spikes and Specks” quilt in lovely modern blues and oranges.

Roh has also nearly completed a very lovely “Longbourne” in pinks, browns and blues.

Kim has almost finished a stunning large compass block in batiks for her “Paradise” quilt.

In Thursday class Kerrie was working on appliqué for the centre of “Longbourne”.

We also chose a gorgeous border from Di Ford’s new “Windermere” range.

Sandra has made a beautiful job of her stunning “Pemberley”.  She has done a lot of work on all the components and it is great to see it now all coming together.

There are a couple of spots available in Wednesday class and bookings are being taken for Summer School in January 2019.
