Here is a lovely Satchel I have completed recently. I have called it Miss Lucas’ Star Satchel (thanks for the name idea Sharon).
For Jane Austen fans, you will remember Charlotte Lucas agreed to marry the insufferable Mr Collins.
The Satchel will fit an A4 size plastic folder or pattern booklet plus other equipment. Everything can be stowed away safely as the Satchel has a zipper closure. A side handle makes it easier to carry.
I used bag batting in the Satchel to give it a firm foundation and to keep the contents flat.
I have made a matching needle case with wool felt for needles and pockets inside. A magnetic fastener keeps the case closed.
The little stars are paper foundation pieced and finish at 2 inches square. Very cute.

I am very proud of my patterns. They take me a long time to write up but I like them to be very detailed and easy to follow.
