New Website Getting Closer to Launch Date!

Hi everyone, I am very excited to share the news that I will soon be launching a new website with my own online shop where you can purchase some of my patterns and template kits.

It has been a long term ambition to be able to sell my patterns directly to my students and followers.

If you would like to sign up with your email address to be among the first to be notified when the online shop is open, please click the link here.

Among the patterns to be released are two more from my Jane Austen Quilt Collection: "Lambton":

and "Longbourne":

Plus lots more,,,,

Final Summer School Classes

I was still very busy at my last two classes for Summer School 2017 at The Stitchers Cupboard.

Lots of ladies made fabulous progress on their Summer Winds Block Keepers, including some completely finished.

This looks like twins, but it is Jan's Keeper on top of mine.  Lol.

Jenny also almost finished her Keeper in retro fabric.

Lovely bright blocks for the front by Glynne.

Hi to you Glynne.  Hope you are keeping out of the heat?

These beautiful blocks are by Glynnis.

This Birdie Block Keeper is very gorgeous by Lyn.

Michelle and Kelly have both made a spectacular version of my "Pickled Paisley" design.  They have made identical quilts (except for the black fabric).

Kelly has also completed an absolutely beautiful version of "Meryton".  Just fabulous Kelly!

It has been a super hot and humid Summer here.  At least we are getting some beautiful sunsets.

We had a trip into Darling Harbour in Sydney to visit the Australian Maritime Museum for Australia Day.  It was great to explore the replica Endeavour.  More of my hero, Captain Cook, again.

First Week of Summer School

I had a lovely week meeting up with lots of lovely students and meeting some new ladies as well.  I have tried to give Summer School Classes a relaxed new year kind of feeling.  I taught at The Stitchers Cupboard for three days and at Hobbysew Kings Park for two days.

Lots were working on making my “Summer Winds” Block Keeper.  Here are some of the gorgeous and varied blocks created.

Gorgeous bird fussy cutting by Lyn.

Pretty brights by Glynne.

Cute 1930s by Jenny.

Lovely blues and reds and yellows by Jan.

Gorgeous pink and green by Vicki.

Apples and trees by Alison.

Monkeys by Maryse.

Beautiful florals by Jen.

Reproductions in autumnal colours by Natalie.

Lovely blues and yellows by Julie.

1930s by Wendy.

The two sides of Vicki’s Block Keeper are now together.

Meanwhile, Sharon was working on her lovely version of my “D’Arcy” cushion.

Meredith concentrated on making blocks for “Charlotte” in string piecing.

Here is a good motto for the new year.  Lol.
