Busy Days at Kings Park Hobbysew

Last week I held my three monthly classes at Hobbysew Kings Park.  Here are some pics from works in progress.  Sorry my camera is out of action so the photographs are not up to my usual standard!

Heather has been working on the Dresden rings for "Pemberley".

Julie brought her completed "Fandango".  This is one of my whack and stack designs and is a lot of fun to make.  Julie used a gorgeous Japanese print.  Quilted by Kaye Brown.

Lesley was working on machine appliqué for her "Fragrant Flowers".

Christine worked on blocks for "Now and Zen".

Kerrie has done lots on a beautiful centre for "Netherfield" in pale green, purple and soft brown.

This is Michelle's "Lambton" centre.  This photo is not true to colour, sorry Michelle, it is gorgeous!

Here is Robin's "Lambton" with mitred corners now done.

In Saturday class, Dru had an amazing show and tell with two huge projects completed.  First is "Netherfield" and then "Mansfield Park".  What a star.  Just stunning.

A great demonstration of the difference colour makes.  Here are two identical block sets of "Bloomin Logs" made by Margaret (bright colours) and Vicki (repro fabrics).  Both fabulous but different.

Meredith showed her wonderful version of "Marrakesh", also a whack and stack design using a Japanese print fabric to make all the fan blocks from the border fabric.

Margaret has finished her great version of the "Lydia" table runner.

Here is Kylie's bright and happy "Lambton" centre.

Wow, that's a lot of work, ladies!  Well done.
