Nowra Girls Excel at Jukejema Quilting Barn

My students at Jukejema are doing some gorgeous work on their "Meryton" quilts.

This is Di's gorgeous version in blue and brown - one of my favourite colour combos.  Love it.

This is Donna's wonderful version - just stunning.  We decided on a rich pink for the sashings.

These are Sandra's corner bouquets in soft and pretty fabrics.

Why didn't I take photos of the other girls' work and the Rosings centres?  Must have been laughing too much!  Sorry girls.

Hobbysew Kings Park Saturday Class

I am now available to teach a Saturday class at Kings Park Hobbysew - the first Saturday of each month.

Students will have a chance to choose from my portfolio and will be able to achieve lots during the one day workshops: 10am to 4pm.  Their phone number is 9621 4000.

Anne's Very Different "Longbourne"!

Anne has sent me some photos of her fabulous "Longbourne" quilt which she began in class with the Misty Mountains Quilters.  I loved teaching this group as everyone was committed to working hard and each student was working in a totally different colour scheme.

Anne made her version in mostly Kaffe Fassett fabrics.  Her quilt has a bright and whimsical feel.  

I love it!  Well done, Anne, and see you later this year in Bath for our Jane Austen tour!

Kylie's Quilts at the Quilt Show

It is so great to see my students so proud of their work and displaying it at The Quilters' Guild of NSW Quilt Show.

Kylie exhibited two of her gorgeous Jane Austen quilts this year: Hunsford and Longbourne.

Needless to say, Kylie loves the colour pink.  Her "Hunsford" was beautifully custom quilted by Katy Law.

This is Kylie's stunning "Longbourne" - it looked superb hanging up, beautifully quilted by Veronica Appleyard.

Monthly Class at Patchwork Plus, Miranda

Class work at The Stitchers' Cupboard

Teacher Accreditation and My Day at the Quilt Show.

I was very proud to receive my Teacher Accreditation Certificate for Workshop Techniques from the Quilters' Guild of NSW yesterday.

Here I am with Amanda Daly (Vice President of the Guild and Teacher Accreditation Committee Chairman) receiving my certificate.

I was also able to work as a demonstrator for the Guild.  I sat for a while stitching hexagons and had some lovely conversations with passers by.

I also finally saw my Winchester quilt hanging in the red and white quilt display.
