Jane Austen Quilts Continued

Progress on Jane Austen Quilt Classes

Some of the girls are making excellent progress during classes on my Jane Austen Quilt Collection.

Here are some of the girls at a recent "Rosings" class at Pioneer Patchwork.  Some were new to paper foundation piecing so we had a busy day making our Georgetown Circle blocks.  At least they are smiling....

Here are some of the results so far.  The first is Michelle's gorgeous completed block pieced into her black background; the second is Deborah's very pretty centre; the third is Maria's in lovely shades of blue and orange and the last one is Kelly's in soft pink and teal:

The next photos show Glenda's very beautiful "Longbourne".  Her colours are very delicate and her "fussy cutting really lovely:

The next set of photos show Chris' fabulously rich "Netherfield" in dark blue and red.  Considering she only started in January at Jane Austen Finishing School, she has powered ahead and done heaps.  Way to go Chris!  It is absolutely stunning!  I love it!

The next photo shows Jan's wonderful "Netherfield" in soft shades of blue and gold.  Isn't it amazing what a difference the colours make?

What clever students I have!
