This Week in the Classroom

We are starting to wrap up classes for the year with lots of Christmas party treats and sewing instructions for the holiday period.

Here is some lovely work by Pauline on her pink and green “Highbury” in class at Post Office Patchwork, Glenbrook.

Margaret has been making lots of progress on the hexagon/square borders for “Longbourne” in soft colours.  Lovely work.

Here are the cornerstones.

Lisa has also been working on this border.  Here is a collection of her baby 3/8” baby hexagons.

Here are Lisa’s cornerstone blocks.

Tania is making a fantastic bright version of “Meryton”.  Wow!

Both Meredith and Anne are making “Jelly Friends” from a fabric range called “Morris Holiday”.
Here are some of their blocks so far.

Gorgeous!

This is Anne’s corner block for “Hartfield”.  So pretty.

How is this for “fussy cutting”?  Sharon is using this fabric called “Emma” by Kathy Hall for her “Lambton” scallops.
This looks amazing.

At The Stitchers Cupboard, Julie has made this stunning little cornerstone square for “Hartfield”.

Julie has also taken out her “Netherfield” Centre to assess where she is up to.  It is lovely.

April has completed a beautiful “Cordelia” cushion. (Sorry the photo is not good)

I have been working with a beautiful jelly roll called “Hickory Road” by Jo Morton.  Love these repro fabrics.

These are some of the blocks I have made so far.
