Here is the quilt show....
First Kerry had completed her quilt in rich shades of navy blue, red and brown. She is here on the right..
Next, is Anne's amazing version in Kaffe Fassett fabrics. How different is this one? Spectacular!
The next one belongs to Clare. She has used only batiks. They give her quilt a soft, hand dyed, ferny look. Clare announced she did not intend to make another purple quilt. I hate to tell you this, Clare!
This one is by Jill. She was determined to use all her scraps. Her quilt is beautiful! Look at the fussy cutting!
Jill enjoys paper piecing so much she is making an extensive hexagon border for the outside of her quilt instead of a plain border. Just look at how gorgeous this is.... I wish I had thought of that!
Next is the version by Helen. It is so soft and lacey. I love it!
Next is Faye's beautiful version on a wonderful sunny yellow background. She had a magnificent piece of fabric in her stash which she decided to use for a border and then went about matching all the colours from it.
Here is the border fabric...
Blog readers will remember Faye could not decide on the embellishment for her urn. It was worth the wait. Here it is "fussy cut" from the border print. Wow!
The next quilt has been made by Victoria. She has used many lovely reproduction fabrics to great effect. I love her colour scheme.
Here is a nice photo of Victoria with her quilt.
Here are some detailed shots.
Here is Jean with her blue and soft yellow version. It reminds me of the colours of the sea. It is very restful. Jean has used one special floral print in soft tealy blues as the inspiration for the colours of her quilt. You will see the same lovely floral throughout the photos of her quilt.
Here is Kelly's centre in some very soft shabby chic fabrics.
Here is Meg's quilt using lots of fussy cuts from a lovely range of fabric by French General. How beautiful is this.
Here is Barbara's "Longbourne" in shades of blue. All finished. Yay!
