Wrap Up of Weekend Retreat at Kurri Kurri

We continued to have a wonderful time at the Hunter Valley Hotel Academy.  The weekend went way too fast.  Here I am with this great group of beautiful ladies.

Retreat at Kurri Kurri Hunter Hotel Academy

This weekend I am holding my own retreat jointly with Amanda Daly at the Hunter Valley Hotel Academy at Kurri Kurri.

The venue is wonderful, the staff are so helpful and the food gorgeous.

Here is my classroom, spacious and full of light.

I am teaching a lovely group of 16 ladies my "Hartfield" Jane Austen quilt.

The girls are making lots of dainty little hexagons for their centre blocks.

I have been doing lots of demonstrations today of all my different hand appliqué techniques.

I have been working through my "to do" list so I can finish everything before I leave for the UK in 18 days time!

I have completed the labels for the back of both "Lambton" and "Hartfield".

On the home front, my gorgeous David came third in the navy cadet National Shooting Competition.  Well done David!

Busy class at The Stitchers Cupboard

I had a very busy and productive class in Camden yesterday.

Kelly has finished her fabulous "Netherfield" in the beautiful colour scheme of brown, pink and purple.

Here is the centre.

Maryse has finished her stunning centre for "Lambton" in red and navy blue.

Lynne has also completed her beautiful "Lambton" centre in pretty fabrics.  How different to the one above? Gorgeous.

This is Christine's "Hartfield" centre coming together.  Love the combo of colours.

Kerry is also working on "Hartfield".  She says we need sunglasses to look at it.  Lol.  Fabulous bright colours.
