Lots of "Spikey" Blocks Completed at Illawarra Quiltaway

My ladies did really well today working on their foundation pieced circle blocks and practicing their machine appliqué skills.

Here is my class with their blocks.  From left to right, Pam, Joanne, Wailynne, Chris, Jennifer, Pamela and Megan.  Well done girls!

Here are some close ups of the blocks. First one is Joanne's in lovely shades of teal blue and brown with a touch of gold.

Next is Chris in gorgeous green and orange.

Next is Wailynne in beautiful blue and orange.

Here she is later on in the evening holding up her block for show and tell.

This one is Pam's with stunning orange on black.  Wow!

Pam experimented with her appliqué vine and leaves in an amazing bright striped fabric. (This is a sample that will not be going in her quilt).

This is Pamela's second block, almost finished.  Love those repros!
