Patterns for Jane Austen Quilt Collection

I have spent about nine hours today typing notes and preparing patterns for upcoming classes to teach the fifth of my Jane Austen Quilt Collection "Hunsford".

Each of these quilts takes me at least twelve months of planning, drafting, auditioning and preparing fabric and templates, and finally the hand sewing.  The applique takes me many, many hours of sewing sitting in my comfy chair in the lounge room with my lamp on.  No wonder I see so many movies - at least, I hear them!

The quilts then take many hours to be quilted by Veronica Appleyard - always after a lot of discussion and soul searching, not to mention sore muscles!

I am very fond of each of the quilts as they represent different periods in my life and bring back memories of the shows they have hung in and the classes I have held all over Australia.

Although I have had many requests to sell the patterns, they will remain only available to my workshop participants because of the time they have taken me to prepare and teaching them is my source of income.

I am very privileged to have such wonderful students who continue to want to make my designs.  Thank you so much.
