What Have I Been Doing Lately?

I have been busy over the Christmas/New Year period.  The boys and I have been renovating the house over the past few months.
Refurbishing furniture by painting with chalk paint, painting the bedrooms and reorganising the decor.
We are going for a more modern Hamptons look.

David helped me refold and stack all of my teaching quilts in neat order.  Yay!  These need to be handy for class.
There are over 60 quilts here.

As well as sewing when I can.  I am working on borders for the next Jane Austen quilt called “Delaford”.
Here are some style shots I took for social media over the past few weeks.
If you do not already follow me, I am on Facebook with two pages and on Instagram under my own name “Katrina Hadjimichael”.
I usually post daily.

Last year was a tough year, with many personal and work-related challenges.
Here is a look at 2019 from a colour point of view, obtained from my Instagram posts.
I like the deep reds, pinks and teal blues, as well as the green browns and touches of gold.

Here is a look at the top 9 posts for 2019 from my Instagram page.
Lots of my work plus a beautiful “Highbury” by Lyn and quilted by Katy Law.

In case you missed here, here is my Christmas collage.

Stay tuned for more information on my teaching schedule and retreats for this year.

Kind regards,  Katrina x
