Camden Quilt Show

The Camden Country Quilters Guild held their Annual Quilt Show this weekend.  We were lucky with the weather : gorgeous sunshine even if a bit cold.

Lots of my dear friends and students had beautiful quilts on display in the Show and several won prizes.

Here is Colleen with her spectacular "Pemberley" in stunning soft pastel fabrics.  Just quilted by Veronica it looked absolutely beautiful.

This is the lovely Michelle's "Farmer's Wife" quilt made in lots of reproduction fabrics.  She won First place in the Bed Quilt category.  Go Michelle!

Here is Veronica with her stunning "Emerald Forest" quilt.  She won Second Place in the Bed Quilt Category.

Here is Tracey's version of one of my designs "The Way Ahead" in a different setting.  She also won a prize.

Here is gorgeous Cindy who was very excited to have won a prize in the Hand Quilted category for her quilt "Sakura" made in class at Pioneer.  It is a reversible quilt as you go log cabin with some sashiko stitching.  Congrats Cindy.  This was only the second quilt Cindy made, she picks some challenges!

Here is my "Bunbury" which won Veronica First Place for Longarm Quilting. I found out tonight it also won Viewer's Choice.

Here is V with the ribbon!

Here is my "Hunsford" hanging at the Show.

Here is Ingrid amongst all the goodies for sale from Pioneer Patchwork. Lots of temptations! She is a master at displaying all that merchandise in a tiny space!

Lots of hard work but also great fun at the Show, as always!
