Another Round of "Rosings"

I started a new class of ladies on "Rosings" yesterday.  We had a lovely day playing with fabric and constructing the rings for the centre Georgetown Circle block on the quilt.

Here are some of the results laid out on the table:

The first shows Debbie's first two rings.  She is using rich reds, golds, black and a tealy blue.  The centre will also be her border fabric.

This one belongs to Birgit.  She is using a selection of French General fabrics in gorgeous pinks, greens and a grey/brown.  Great "fussy cutting" in the third ring.

This one belongs to Leanne and yes, she did get some pink in there, along with deep reds and browns.  Looks great.

The last one belongs to Kerry.  She even pieced some of her fourth ring!  Kerry is using a wonderful fabric for her border with beautiful Florentine-like flowers on a red background.  She has "fussy cut" some for the third ring and the centre circle of the block.  Really beautiful!

I am looking forward to seeing them finished next class.
